In competitive, pc has a HUGE advantage over controller. Yes, kbm has way less aim assist, but that doesn't change the fact that the aim assist is mostly balanced. The average controller player gets absolutely dominated by kbm, due to better aim, more buttons and performance mode, so aim assist just serves as a little crutch.
Aim assist is perfectly fine as a difficulty/accessibility tweak in singleplayer games, but you're absolutely right in regards to crossplay multiplayer games. Gyro aim should become standard for controllers anyway so I don't think it's much of a loss. zeddyzed.
