Why on Earth does Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022)'s SINGLEPLAYER campaign require a persistent internet connection to play if you're only playing by yourself? You're paying full price for something you can't play offline, you do not own and when the Activision servers go down you're left with a 125 GB paperweight. Now, players will find that the reason why your status is offline is that the game is still downloading and is not ready for you to play yet. This can be confusing considering that the Battle Royale will let players go into the Bootcamp and play a little, making it seem like the game is downloaded. However, the Bootcamp is all you can do until Yes, you can start a "Private Match" and play with bots on all the MP maps and modes :-) This is also why I bought COD this year againso I could get the remastered cod4 with BOTS!
