The only difference is something to do with the Blu-ray housing, which is better on the 2500 models. Only the earliest 2500 models can be jailbroken. I've owned all three PS3 versions, but right now i'm using the Super Slim. Its definitely the most ugly of the three, i preferred the Slim with its matte finish.
